r.a.s is a usenet (NNTP) newsgroup and gliderpilot.net provides a portal to it. When you post a message to r.a.s using gliderpilot.net the message is queued and then uploaded at the next check of the news server (typically every 15 minutes). As a result your message can take up to 15 minutes to appear on the site - please don't keep trying to send the message again and again since it will only result in multiple postings!
